Having recently begun my new journey in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) studies, I am currently enrolled in the Language Institute, Thammasat University’s TESOL ELT (English Language Teaching) course while also doing Arizona State University’s TESOL Professional Certificate Program on Coursera.
Both programs begin by emphasizing the importance of the communicative approach that focuses on fostering applicable, integrated communicative skills in a new language.
With practical knowledge in language acquisition theories and teaching methodologies to be gained from the two programs, I will be readily equipped to develop my own English course that focuses on analytical thinking, reading, and writing skills, for I regard them collectively as an essential foundation for expanding an individual’s intellectual horizon.⚡️
